'Veldwerk' is a book which contains texts and watercolors by poet Jan Kleefstra and visual artist Christiaan Kuitwaard, which were made on site in the open air at various locations in the Dutch province of Friesland for a year. The Frisian landscape is weighed down by the pressure of large-scale agriculture, resulting in loss of biodiversity of grassland. Meadow birds, flowers and insects are gone in big parts of what used to be a rich landscape. Also representatives of the dairy industry and farmers organisations to scientists and a biodynamic farmer contributed to 'Veldwerk' with essays. The text is in Dutch.
